HERO Theatre
Since 2019, Vanessa collaborates with Hero Theatre to create charitable promotional advertisements to help support upcoming plays help support communty-efforts in L.A.
Museum of Children’s Art (MOCHA)
During the Covid-19 Pandemic, many businesses were shut down completely. Arts-based community centers took their share of the hit— and many did not survive.
DRAW! Workshop
From 2014-2016 Vee co-founded and taught a costumed figure drawing workshop for all ages in the Z.J. Loussac Public Library. Utilizing volunteer models, Vee guided artists and amateurs in drawing figures ranging from Star-Wars, to Flying Yoga and more, focusing on characterization.
Anchorage Arts Co-Op
A community centered mural tying downtown Anchorage, Alaska to the nearby railroad system, one of the central unifying transportation systems in the state. Community members joined in during the process to put ‘their piece’ up, while the larger theme was unified via Vanessa Sweet and Ted Kincaid.
